FANNP as an organization is committed to educational advancement and is proud to be able to award scholarships to nurses and NNPs continuing their educational pursuits in the field of neonatal health care.
Scholarships are awarded annually in July. A percentage of the money in the FANNP general operating budget is placed into the scholarship fund each year. Scholarship awards are currently $1000-$2000. At the end of 2025, after a review of FANNP’s financial report, the Board of Directors will evaluate the possibility of increasing scholarship amounts for 2026. Watch for more information in February.
Scholarship monies can be used for tuition, books or any expenses incurred while in school.
As part of the application process, scholarship recipients are expected to provide a short article, case study, practice pointer, evidenced-based practice update or literature review for possible publication in the FANNP Membership Newsletter.
FANNP wants to help RNs or NNPs pursue advanced degrees in neonatal health care. All FANNP members are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.
Please contact scholarships@fannp.org with any questions.
Applications for 2026 FANNP Scholarships need to be submitted by June 15, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be notified July 15, 2026.
